Founded in 2023 by designer Hellen — whose design is shaped by a mixed cultural inheritance, being descended from Asian, indigenous and African peoples — she combines diverse artisanal techniques to translate nature into wearable sculpture — its colours, textures and forms. CAZUHÊ is a testing ground — a place in constant displacement, development and adaptation — seeking to present pieces that can build bridges between Brazilian design and the world. Focused in experimentation, from textiles to visuals, the brand proposes exclusive collections with collectible pieces from numbered models.

Care

Each Cazuhê piece is made to last. After all the stages of crafting, careful handling is essential — especially with chemicals of any kind. With the right attention, your fabric will preserve its texture, colour and shape for years.

Natural Silk

Hand wash in cold water with gentle soap. Never wring — press gently. Dry flat in the shade. Iron on the reverse side with a damp cloth.

Wool & Knit

Hand wash in cold water with mild shampoo. Dry flat on a surface. Store folded, never hanging. Between seasons, dry cleaning is ideal — for stains, spot cleaning is recommended.

Cotton

Machine wash on delicate in cold water. Turn inside out. Avoid the dryer. Dry in the shade. May fade slightly.

Linen

Hand wash or machine on delicate at 30°C. Iron while slightly damp — linen improves with use, gaining natural drape over time.

Artisanal Seams

Check seams regularly. Do not pull loose threads — cut close with scissors. We can re-stitch seams at the atelier in Paris.

Storage

Dry, airy place. Use fabric bags, never plastic. Natural fabrics need to breathe. For long-term storage, lay pieces flat or folded inside the protective cover — never hanging.

Jeans

We do not recommend washing denim pieces frequently. Between uses, hygienisation with a garment steamer is the most effective method. For stains, spot cleaning locally is recommended. When washing is necessary, use cold water only.

Natural Dyes & Prints

Use neutral liquid soap. Wash separately for the first time — naturally-dyed pieces may still release pigment even after our internal washes. Cold water only; never hot.

Natural dyes continue to react with chemicals even after dyeing. We do not recommend mixing any other cleaning products on these pieces. Substances such as deodorants, perfumes, condiments and similar agents can react chemically with the fabric and create permanent stains — handle with care.

General Washing

Machine wash inside out on delicate in cold water, with similar colours only. Follow label instructions. We do not recommend fabric softener on any Cazuhê piece.

Washing guidelines

For best results, machine wash inside out on a delicate cycle in cold water, with similar colours only. We do not recommend fabric softener on any Cazuhê piece.

Prioritise neutral liquid soap, especially on pieces with natural dyeing or prints — this preserves colour. For the first wash, naturally-dyed pieces should be washed separately, as they may still release pigment.

Delicate fabrics must be dried flat on a horizontal surface, in the shade. Prolonged sun exposure can alter colour in all natural fibres.

Hachi Line

We do not recommend washing denim pieces frequently. Between uses, hygienisation with a garment steamer is the most effective method. For stains, spot cleaning locally is recommended.

When washing is necessary, professional cleaning is preferred — inform the cleaner that the piece is starched, as this requires longer soaking to fully remove the product before re-application.

For ironing, fold the piece so that steam reinforces shape and structure.

Understanding the label

Hang dry

Dry vertically, hanging from waist or shoulders.

Dry flat

Lay on a horizontal surface to dry.

Dry in shade

Avoid direct sunlight to preserve colour.

No tumble dry

Never use a dryer on any Cazuhê piece.

Delicate wash

Machine on delicate cycle, max 30°C.

Hand wash only

Wash gently by hand in cold water.

Do not wring

Press gently — never twist or wring.

No bleach

No bleach or harsh chemical agents.

Our processes

The house believes that fusing production techniques adds value to our creations. The mixing of knowledge influences and shapes the making of each piece in a unique way. Some of the techniques we use are natural dyeing, hand sewing, moulage, texturisation and painting — to create objects that generate emotion and meaning. Experimentation is present across all collections, where elements are incorporated and refined in each creation.

  • Natural drying only — no dryers or artificial heat sources during production.
  • Neutral soap in all internal washes — easily treated by conventional city water processing.
  • Textile waste managed and sorted by colour for upcycling in other pieces.
  • Deadstock fabric selection — end-of-roll textiles sourced from the industry, reducing waste.
  • Local production — activating the local economy and sourcing materials within the city.
  • Local deliveries made with electric vehicles — reducing atmospheric emissions.

Upon receipt of your order we will send you a confirmation email. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order — acceptance occurs only when we send you a dispatch confirmation, at which point a binding contract is formed between you and Cazuhê.

If you discover a mistake in your order before receiving your dispatch confirmation, please contact us immediately at cazuhehouse@gmail.com. Once the order has been dispatched, you may still have the right to return the item in accordance with our Returns Policy.

We reserve the right to reject any order, for example if a product is out of stock, if payment cannot be processed, or if we suspect a breach of these Terms.

All Cazuhê products are handmade. Subtle variations in colour, texture and finish are inherent to the artisanal process and do not constitute a defect. Product images on our website are for illustrative purposes only — while we make every effort to represent colours and materials accurately, we cannot guarantee that your screen accurately reflects the true appearance of a product. We reserve the right to cancel orders or refuse future orders if we reasonably suspect commercial purchasing activity.

All prices are displayed in Euros (€) and are inclusive of applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise. Prices may change from time to time, but any change will not affect an order you have already placed.

Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments. Your order will not be dispatched until payment has been received in full. Ownership of products passes to you only upon full receipt of payment, including any applicable shipping charges.

If your payment method is denominated in a currency other than Euros, the final amount charged will depend on the exchange rate applied by your card issuer on the day of the transaction. Cazuhê is not responsible for any exchange rate fluctuations, commissions or fees incurred.

  • All manuals, leaflets and documents included at the time of dispatch must be returned
  • The original packaging, wrapping, bags and boxes must accompany the product
  • The item must not have been worn, washed, stained or adjusted/altered in any way (including waist adjustments, hem alterations, hardware changes, etc.)
  • The item must be free of odours
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To begin a return or exchange, please contact CAZUHÊ by email at cazuhehouse@gmail.com. Your message must include your order number, full name and the reason for the return or exchange. We will respond with the next steps.

Right to Refuse a Return

Should CAZUHÊ determine that a returned item does not meet the conditions listed above, we reserve the right not to accept the return or proceed with the exchange. In such cases, CAZUHÊ may resend the item to the customer without prior consultation, accompanied by a written justification for the refusal.

Personnalisé & Made-to-Order — No Returns, No Exchanges

Purchases from the Personnalisé category and all made-to-order pieces are final sale. Each piece is produced exclusively for you — to your specifications, in your chosen fabric, silhouette and finish — and cannot be cancelled, refunded or exchanged under any circumstance.

This includes, without exception, cases where you change your mind after placing the order, select the wrong model, or provide an incorrect size. We strongly recommend reviewing all details carefully before confirming a Personnalisé order. If you have any questions about sizing or specifications, please contact us at cazuhehouse@gmail.com before placing your order.

The right of withdrawal granted by EU consumer law does not apply to custom or made-to-order goods (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)).

Refunds

We will issue a full refund — including original standard shipping costs — within 14 calendar days of receiving the returned item, using the same payment method as your original purchase.

Exchanges

We accept exchanges within 14 calendar days of receipt, subject to availability. Contact us at cazuhehouse@gmail.com to arrange an exchange before returning any item.

Delivery Timeframe

Artisanal production time is 3–10 business days. If no specific delivery date is communicated at the time of purchase, your order will be dispatched within 30 calendar days. If we are unable to meet this deadline, you have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or external circumstances beyond our control.

Destinations & Carriers

We ship worldwide. All European deliveries are handled exclusively via DHL. For international orders outside Europe, shipping is also carried out via DHL.

For customers in Paris and Normandy, we offer an exclusive express delivery service with delivery within 24 hours of dispatch.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout via Shopify.

Processing & Dispatch

Orders are processed and dispatched within 24 business hours of purchase confirmation. This processing window does not apply to express delivery orders, which are prioritised and dispatched immediately. Estimated delivery times are counted from the day of dispatch, not the day the order is placed.

Duties & Taxes

Import duties, customs fees and local taxes are not included in the price shown at checkout. These charges vary by destination country and are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Cazuhê has no control over these fees and assumes no responsibility for any duties, taxes or customs charges applied by local authorities upon delivery. We recommend checking your country's import regulations before placing an order.

We may cancel your order at any time by notifying you if:

  • Payment cannot be processed or is declined
  • A product becomes unexpectedly unavailable after your order is placed
  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity or a breach of these Terms
  • We are unable to deliver to your location for legal or logistical reasons

In all such cases, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund of any amount already paid within 14 calendar days, using the same payment method as your original purchase.

If a cancellation occurs due to a serious breach of these Terms — including violation of our no-resale policy — we reserve the right to decline future orders from the same customer.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Cazuhê is only responsible for losses you suffer that are directly caused by our breach of these Terms. We are not responsible for:

  • Losses that were not a foreseeable consequence of our breach at the time of purchase
  • Delays or damages caused by events outside our reasonable control (including carrier delays, customs holds or force majeure events)
  • Losses that you could have avoided by taking reasonable action
  • Any business losses, including loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity — our products are sold for personal use only

If you have a complaint relating to an order or these Terms, please contact us in the first instance at cazuhehouse@gmail.com. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and work to resolve it as quickly as possible through our internal process.

Each of the clauses of these Terms operates independently. If any clause is found to be unlawful or unenforceable by a competent authority, the remaining clauses will continue in full force and effect.

Processes

Overview

The house believes that the fusion of production techniques adds value to our creations. The blend of knowledge influences and alternates the making of each piece in a unique way. Some of the techniques we use are natural dyeing, hand sewing, moulage, texturisation and painting to create objects that generate emotion and meaning. Experimentation is present in every collection, where elements are incorporated and refined in each new creation.

Internal management · I

Natural drying only, without the use of dryers or any artificial heat source, minimising energy use throughout the production process. Use of neutral soap and less abrasive products that are easily treated through conventional wastewater systems. Management of our textile waste, which is stored and sorted by colour for use in other pieces in our upcycling line.

Internal management · II

Selection of deadstock fabrics, making use of end-of-roll materials available in the textile industry. Local production, supporting the local economy by prioritising manufacturing and sourcing of materials in the city where the collection is being developed. Local deliveries made with electric vehicles, contributing to the reduction of pollutant gas emissions in the atmosphere.

Our Techniques

Hand Sewing

Attention to detail is expressed through hand sewing. Many hems, collars, buttons, necklines and pockets are applied with stitches carefully made by hand. Whether by the desire to make the seam as subtle and invisible as possible, or by the charm of visible topstitching.

Painting

Every fabric illustration at CAZUHÊ is made by hand. The image it represents will always be unique — each stroke and brushstroke will never be reproduced in the same way again, as it is human work. Every piece with a localised or all-over print is an object made for you.

Natural Dyeing

Natural dyeing is a lengthy process that creates unique colours each time. These pieces deserve special care, as in addition to reacting easily to chemical substances found in nature (acid juices, deodorants, vinegar, bleach, sweat, etc.), their colour also changes over time due to washing. CAZUHÊ recommends following all guidelines found in the label delivered with the piece.

Suppliers & Materials

Suppliers · Brazil

The raw material suppliers with whom we have built relationships since 2023 in the national territory are: Vicunha, G.Vallone, Di Palma, Banco de Tecido, O Casulo Feliz, Texprima, Ecobotões, YKK and GJ.

Suppliers · Europe

In the European territory, our suppliers are: Nona Source, Malhia de Tecido, AYK, YKK, Sotissus, Dam Boutons and Mercerie La Maison du Bouton.

Fabrics

CAZUHÊ prioritises fibres that originate from natural elements such as modal, cotton, linen, tencel, wool, silk and others. This priority is driven by comfort and biodegradability. Naturally occurring fibres allow the body to breathe, enable natural dyeing and have a substantially lower decomposition time compared to petroleum-derived fibres.

Environmental Project

Rede Sementes do Xingu

An extension of our actions to minimise socio-environmental impact is our support for the Rede Sementes do Xingu project.
